Busy 2010 so far!

Having started 2010 with two new residencies at 'You've Ruined My Weekend' and 'Look What The Kat Dragged In' things have never been better for Heroic Lunge. Beats (formerly Beats Of Rage) asked us to join them last week for their launch party with Foamo and it went off! Beats is just a grown up version of Beats Of Rage, getting all sorts of flavours in the mix. After our last performance we have been invited back to play along side Jack Beats next month which is an honour and something we're very much looking forward to.

We love playing at big nights but we still love the more underground gigs like Social/Big Things which plays disco and actual real hip hop! (hard to come by in Preston). I recommend you come down to Method in Preston for their next installment. We will be there for sure.

So yeah, wow! What a great year we've had collectively, playing alongside Ocelot, Foamo, Jayou, Kid Cola, Pete Tong and DJ Yoda. Plus, we're hosting Room 2 at Look What The Kat Dragged In...Sub Focus! where Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs will be joining us. Not bad!

Keep checking the blog for more info on future events especially the May edition of Look What The Kat Dragged In.... the line-up is sick!. We have some slots lined up at festivals too. It's all hush hush at the mo but we're sure you'll love and hopefully we will see you there anyway! Now Lunge!

Heroic Lunge set from You've Ruined My Weekend

Alreet peeps, get a load of the Heroic Lunge set from You've Ruined My Weekend where we played alongside Gatto Viola, Nick Wakefield and the mighty Ocelot.

It's been a while since the last YRMW but Paddy pulled out all the stops for this one and what a night it was. Best night I've played at to date. We were blown away by Wakefields techy treats and Ocelot showed the Preston crowd why he has been named after a wild cat. He looks like your average house cat but behind the decks he's vicious!

The next YRMW is gonna be bigger and better than ever and we are delighted to be appearing on the bill once again with none other than Kid Cola and Jayou headlining the night.

So we've been announced for a very special easter show. We're hosting the second room at Look What The Kat Dragged In...

But...Who are we supporting? Not only the amazing Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs and Brookes Brothers. Not only Dialog from the massive Murkage Cartel, but they've only gone and booked the almighty Sub Focus as well!!

All for an easy £8 early bird. At a really nice Mill, in Preston.

I never was a huge fan of dubstep even though I like most dub music but... when Herbal Sessions were sound testing their rig at Look What The Kat Dragged In...Chase + Status, they stuck this on a 1210 and everything changed. The drop at 0.58 made me do this.


What the fuck is that??!!! I nearly shit! The Herbal guys said it was their biggest most powerful rig yet at over 10ft tall!
